		<description><![CDATA[Yup, AC units seem to generate as much hot air as cold, raising the temp of the whole city. (not sure if ppl notice how much their city&#039;s temp drops during brown outs/ black outs.)  I prefer to throw open my windows, turn on the cieling fan, &amp; pretend I&#039;m on a tropical island, with a cold cervesa in hand.... Ahhhh... Que refrescante!   ]]></description>

NY would do well to adopt the European model: incentivizing bike usage and discouraging auto use in central areas.  Increased bike parking, and more fully integrating bike lanes with public transport would be a great start.  Thanks for sharing, Ad!]]></description>
